Are you interested in designing and delivering solutions for complex and high impact business problems?

Amazon Retail Business Service team is looking for a SDE who can innovate to build high quality solutions for technically challenging problems in our roadmap. A developer in this team will be designing and building employee productivity suites which will have impact across multiple geographies.

As a SDE on the team, you will help us build the solution using AWS technologies and custom code. The ideal candidate will be an expert in distributed systems solving complex business challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

• A bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of experience in design and development of scaleable distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and CS fundamentals
• Strong Design and Architecture skills
• Proficiency in Java/C++ or any OO language on a Linux/Unix environment and excellent coding skills
• Deep experience in building solutions using AWS technologies like DynamoDB, S3, RDS, SWF, Redshift, Lambda, SQS, Kinesis
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to develop front-end screens using HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and CS
