We are seeking a skilled Programmer / Software Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain a comprehensive College Management Software (Web & App based) for a Polytechnic College, covering academics, examinations, curriculum, faculty, discipline, regulatory compliance, and an integrated Feedback & Grievance Redressal Portal.
Location: Vanagaram, Chennai (Work from Office ONLY)
Key Responsibilities
1. College Management Software Development
Design and develop a customized, modular, and scalable CMS/ERP for polytechnic education.
Develop web and mobile applications to manage:
o Academic administration
o Student and faculty lifecycle
o Examination and evaluation processes
o Curriculum and syllabus management
o Discipline and mentoring systems

2. Feedback & Grievance Portal Development
Design and implement a secure Feedback & Grievance Redressal Portal for:
o Students
o Parents
o Faculty & Staff
Develop category-based feedback forms (academic, examination, infrastructure, administration, etc.).
Enable anonymous and confidential feedback options as per institutional policy.
Implement online grievance submission with:
o Auto-generated grievance ID
o Priority classification
o Supporting document upload
Develop workflow-based grievance handling:
o Auto-routing to HOD / Principal / Grievance Redressal Committee
o Time-bound resolution and escalation mechanism
o Status tracking (Submitted, Under Review, Action Taken, Resolved, Closed)
Generate analytics and compliance reports for:
o Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
o AICTE / DOTE inspections and audits

3. Regulatory & Compliance Modules
Develop modules aligned with AICTE, DOTE, NBA, and Board of Technical Education norms.
Enable automated report generation for:
o Approval processes
o Accreditation
o Inspections and statutory audits

4. Security, Access & Data Management
Implement role-based access control (Admin, Principal, HOD, Faculty, Student, Parent, GRC).
Ensure data confidentiality, encryption, backup, and recovery.
Maintain audit logs for grievance and feedback actions.

5. Integration & Communication
Integrate SMS / Email / App notifications for:
o Feedback acknowledgements
o Grievance status updates
o Academic alerts
Support third-party integrations where required.

6. Support, Maintenance & Training
Provide continuous technical support and system upgrades.
Train faculty, office staff, and committee members on system usage.
Resolve bugs and improve system performance based on user feedback.

Qualification & Experience
B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (CS/IT) or equivalent
2-5 years experience in customized web/app development
Prior experience in educational ERP / grievance systems preferred.
