About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Three.js Developer

with at least 4 years of hands-on experience to join our remote team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing highly interactive 3D web applications, working closely with our product, design, and backend teams. This is a

full-time, remote position

that requires working in alignment with US time zones.

Key Responsibilities

3D Application Development:

Build interactive 3D visualizations, simulations, and immersive experiences using Three.js and WebGL.

Optimization:

Ensure smooth performance, efficient rendering, and cross-device compatibility.

Integration:

Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and data pipelines.

UI/UX Collaboration:

Work with designers to translate mockups and storyboards into functional 3D interfaces.

Problem Solving:

Debug rendering issues, optimize shaders, and improve loading times.

Code Quality:

Write clean, modular, and reusable code following industry best practices.

Documentation:

Maintain technical documentation for components and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in

Three.js

and

WebGL

development. Strong proficiency in

JavaScript

,

TypeScript

, and

ES6+

features. Experience with

3D modeling formats

(GLTF, OBJ, FBX) and asset pipelines. Knowledge of

shaders

, lighting, textures, and real-time rendering techniques. Familiarity with

React.js

or

Vue.js

for integrating 3D scenes into modern frontends. Good understanding of

performance profiling

,

memory management

, and browser rendering pipelines. Strong grasp of

Git

, CI/CD workflows, and Agile development practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with

XR/AR/VR development

(WebXR). Knowledge of

physics engines

(Cannon.js, Ammo.js). Familiarity with

Node.js

for backend integration. Exposure to

cloud deployment

(AWS, Azure, GCP).

Work Timings

US Shift:

Flexible remote work, but must overlap with EST/PST for at least 4-5 hours daily. Regular communication through Slack/Teams and sprint planning via Jira.
