We are a dynamic organization operating across construction and biomedical sectors. We're seeking a versatile Software Developer who can create software solutions for payroll, PTO tracking, clock-in/clock-out systems, and specialized applications to support our business growth. You'll also provide essential IT troubleshooting and support across all company locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Develop Software Solutions
Build robust payroll, PTO, and time-tracking systems (clock-in/clock-out).
Create custom software tools and dashboards to serve construction project workflows and biomedical processes.
Full Development Lifecycle
Gather and analyze requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
Design architecture, write clean code, conduct testing, document functionality, deploy, and maintain applications.
IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide desktop/server support and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, system updates, and basic cybersecurity measures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with construction managers, biomedical staff, and payroll administrators to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
Offer user training and produce documentation for software tools and IT procedures.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Regularly evaluate current systems and propose enhancements or new features to improve efficiency.
Stay current with emerging technologies in software, cloud, and IT support.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field--equivalent experience considered
Experience:
Proven software development experience (2+ years).
Exposure to business-critical systems (payroll, time tracking) is a plus.
Experience with construction or biomedical industry tools is highly desirable.
IT support or helpdesk experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
Experience with web/mobile frameworks (React, Angular, .NET).
Database skills: SQL, data models, reporting.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and network fundamentals.

Preferred
Payroll/time system knowledge (ADP, BambooHR, etc.).

Agile methodology familiarity.
