Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain Perl-driven codebase of workflow automation platform including code underlying data integration read and write patterns for both internal as well as customer-facing cloud solutions. The individual will contribute as part of the Database Engineering team and work closely with IT architects, tech leads, business analysts and quality assurance specialists What We\'re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in the following areas:Perl development 1+ years of experience in python or other programming language Experience with data integration and application design and development Experience with cloud computing [AWS preferred] and distributed system deployments Experience in analyzing user requirements and translating/implementing into code Excellent verbal and written communication skills [English] Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience with source code management practices and systems Experience with Agile as well as Waterfall development methodologies Preferred to have Adept with SQL and shell scripting Knowledge of workflow automation and scheduling concepts and best practices-Autosys Ability to independently execute to Proof-of-Concepts [PoCs] targeting cloud-native managed services and features About Company: At S&P Global Platts, we provide the insights you make better informed trading and business decisions with confidence.
