Description: Software Developer for Control Systems


As a Software Developer, you will be engaged in a dynamic Agile environment throughout the entire product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include


Software engineering, involving feature breakdown, task specification, programming, testing, documentation, source code management, deployment, and issue tracking.

Web-based HMI development using our design language.

Collaborating closely with our UX designers to enhance user experiences.

Establishing global automation standards for the platforms we use through cross-site collaboration.

Working in Sprints as a part of a self-organizing team, contributing to the evolution of our products.

Maintain previous released software.

Who You Are

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer who thrives in a dynamic workspace where teamwork and knowledge sharing are essential. To excel in this role, you should have:


A university degree, preferably a Master's (MSc, MEng, MTech) or Bachelor's (BSc, BEng, BTech) from anyone of the following field: Mechatronics / Control & Automation / Embedded Systems / Industrial Automation / Electrical & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / Embedded Systems / Computer Science or any related field.

More than 2 years of work experience in software development and standardizations.

Prior experience in PLC programming using text-based languages such as Structured Text, C, C++, and/or experience with embedded systems will be added advantage.

Well versed with PLC programming language Ladder diagram.

Experience in Siemens PLC platform

Proficiency with TIA Portal.

Experience in industrial communication protocols such as ProfNet, EtherNet/IP, Ethernet Powerlink, EtherCAT, Modbus, Profibus and OPC-UA.

Proficiency with configuring and programming VFDs.

Knowledge of web technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

Familiarity with Software Development Models & Methods, such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), S88, and PackML.

A customer-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
