As a Senior Engineer (IC3), you will be responsible for developing AI powered services that scale our OCI AI Services. You will work with other senior engineers to implement scalable services/applications, automate deployment processes, and support operational excellence in production environments. Key Responsibilities
Build Fullstack Applications: Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java for backend services and React for modern, dynamic user interfaces.


Knowledge Base Systems: Create backend services and UI components that enable querying, managing, and visualising knowledge base content used for AI systems.


Integration with OCI Identity and Infrastructure: Implement secure integrations with OCI Identity services (e.g., IAM) and other OCI infrastructure APIs, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.


Collaboration with AI Features: Work alongside AI engineers to integrate capabilities like prompt-tuned AI responses and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) into front-end experiences.


Performance and Scalability: Optimize applications for scalability, responsiveness, and high availability to support enterprise workloads.


Technical Leadership: Contribute to architecture discussions, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices in fullstack development.


Quality and Reliability: Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, and help drive processes for continuous integration and delivery.


Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-5+ years in fullstack software development, with significant experience in building enterprise applications.


Strong expertise in backend development using Java and related frameworks.


Solid experience developing modern, responsive web applications using React (or similar front-end technologies).


Experience designing systems for scalability, security, and performance in distributed environments.


Familiarity with integrating applications with enterprise identity systems (OAuth, SAML, etc.) and managing secure authentication flows.


Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure principles.


Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.


Strong communication and collaboration abilities.


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.


Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with OCI services or other major cloud providers.


Familiarity with knowledge bases, search technologies, or content management systems.


Exposure to AI or ML applications, particularly integrating AI models into user interfaces.


Experience working on large-scale, high-availability systems in an enterprise environment.


Knowledge of observability tools and practices for monitoring complex applications.
