Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Understand the product requirements and interface with the Product Owner/Scrum Master/Customer in getting clarifications.
- Develop RESTful WEB APIs by understaning various modules in Smart Materials product, EcoSys and SAP
- Develop and leverage unit and integration tests.
- Reproduce the problems reported by customers or QA and resolve them quickly
- Apply full understanding of programming and software principles, theories and concepts along with independent judgment to the assignments including assessment of impacts on other areas of the product.
B.Tech/M.Tech (Computer Science/Information Technology) Overview:
Smart Materials Web API is an Intergraph?s solution for materials management over internet (HTTP). It is a bolt-on product that enables access of few of the Smart Materials functionality over internet which includes various sections of SITE module (Forecast, Material Receiving Report (MRR), Material Inventory Reports (MIR), Material Transfer Report (MTR) and Workpackages) and Bill of Material modules (FLC, FLC items, BOM Import). APIs enable integration of SMAT worth other products like EcoSys and SAP. Skills Required:
- 1 - 2 years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C# or VB.NET
- Good experience in working with RESTful web services in ASP.Net
- Hands on experience in developing ASP.NET RESTful WEB API?s as per OData, OAuth standards
- Strong experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Understanding of good coding standards and applying them consistently.
- Good logical, analytical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to understand the problem and come up with one or more solutions.
- Ability to work well in team environment.
- Interacting with Customer/End users during all phases of software development.
- Have good decision-making ability regarding technical decisions.
- Materials and Supply chain Management domain knowledge would be handy. However, it is not mandatory.
