The Role: Software Developer

The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence, a best-in-class sector-focused news and financial information provider, is looking for a Software Developer to join our Software Development team in Gurugram office.

The Impact: Candidate will work on a self-managed team to maintain, update, and implement processes utilized by other teams. Coordinate with stakeholders to design innovative functionality in existing and future applications. Work across teams to enhance the flow of our data.

You will utilize your technical knowledge and analytical skills to develop the products that our clients use daily.

You will help provide mentorship and insight to other developers and stretch your knowledge as we come up with new solutions to the challenges we encounter. We provide the data and analytics required for every single day decisions in the capital and commodities markets.

Responsibilities

• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures using T-SQL
• Review and write ongoing business requirements in existing SP
• Object Oriented programing in C# .Net
• Production Support - must be able to read and diagnose problems
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Agile Fluent, Scale Agile a nice to have

What We\'re Looking For: -

• 2-3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
• Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming - a must
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Team player
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Object Oriented programing in .Net skills
• Nice to Have

AWS exposure
Spark and with Scala
Python exposure
