Energy, Siemens Limited India is seeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated individual to fill this position in the Testing & Validation department of Gas Turbines Product development group as Software Application Developer.

Primary responsibility involves building a robust & stable software application, to be used in Gas Turbine Testing department to manage and build large channel data acquisition systems for gas turbine and rig testing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Follow Agile method in building a stable and robust software application which will help in the managing, commissioning, and operating of large channel data acquisition systems.
• The focus of the software is on the meta data of the measuring points and the managing of the A/D converter in usage.
• Clean coding and implement efficient algorithms.
• Support testing engineers within daily business as first and second level software support within python and VBA projects.
• Interface with global instrumentation engineers from the Gas Turbine Product TESTING team to gather the requirements of the application\xe2\x80\x99s and publish the specifications
• Apply software development lifecycle process for the analysis, design, implementation, testing and validation for building the application
• Participation and set-up of the efficient new age database\xe2\x80\x99s (e.g. NoSQL type)

• Engineering / Science undergraduate degree with solid understanding of software design and development.
• Minimum 3-4 years as a professional software development experience
• Testing methods and technique to ensure bug free and stable software required for building mission critical apps.
• Solid understanding & experience of database and applications built on modern NoSQL databases having been involved in the end-to-end stages.
• Theoretical understanding of design patterns.
• Software configuration management using GiT.
• Knowledge about diverse measurement techniques and data acquisition systems (digital) would be a big plus.

Skills required:

• Strong background in using

Power Platform * Knowledge in Excel and Visual Basic for Applications.

• Ability to understand existing code and Projects.
