Role and responsibilities

Develop, enhance and maintain web applications using PHP based on business and technical requirements. Design and implement secure RESTful APIs in PHP for consumption by web and mobile clients. Design and optimize relational database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) including queries, indexes and reports. Build user interfaces, forms, dashboards and reports using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, error handling, logging and auditing as per best practices. Collaborate with frontend/mobile developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, estimate tasks and deliver within timelines. Participate in code reviews, write basic technical documentation and support testing and production deployments.

Technical skills (must have)

3-5 years hands?on experience in PHP development (Core PHP plus at least one MVC framework such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter or similar). Strong SQL skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL: schema design, joins, indexing, stored procedures, query optimization. Proven experience in building REST APIs (JSON over HTTPS, token/session based auth, error handling). Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and at least one JS library/framework (e.g., jQuery, React, Vue or Angular). Familiarity with Linux environments, Apache/Nginx configuration and basic deployment processes. Experience using Git for version control.

Technical skills (good to have)

Experience with role?based access control, audit logging and application security (XSS/CSRF prevention, SQL injection protection). Exposure to enterprise or e?governance style web applications. Basic performance tuning (caching, query optimization, profiling). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps.

Qualifications and other requirements

BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/IT.? 3-5 years of relevant experience in application development and maintenance.? Ability to work full?time onsite in New Delhi and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Pay: ?420,000.00 - ?540,000.00 per year
