About the Role
We are seeking a
mid-level Software Developer (Backend)
with strong expertise in
Java and Spring Boot
to join our growing engineering team. You will play a key role in building
scalable APIs
, optimizing backend systems, and ensuring our applications handle
high traffic and real-time data
efficiently.
The role involves working on a
microservices architecture deployed on AWS
, with
PostgreSQL and MySQL
as primary databases.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain
RESTful APIs
using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
Develop
microservices-based solutions
ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
Optimize
SQL queries and backend logic
for high-volume data and low latency
Implement
authentication and authorization
using Spring Security
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve
performance bottlenecks
in high-traffic applications
Collaborate with
frontend developers, product managers, and QA
in an Agile environment
Mentor junior developers and participate in
code reviews and architectural discussions
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on
AWS infrastructure
Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in
Java
and the
Spring Boot ecosystem
(Spring Web, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, JPA)
Hands-on experience with
PostgreSQL and MySQL
Experience designing and maintaining
microservices architectures
Familiarity with
AWS services
for deployment, scaling, and monitoring
Experience working on
high-traffic, production-grade applications
Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in
Agile/Scrum teams
Good communication skills and a willingness to
mentor junior engineers
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
Frontend experience with React.js
for better collaboration on full-stack workflows
Experience with
Linux server setup and administration
Exposure to full-stack development and understanding of frontend-backend integration
