Software Developer (Application Engineering - L1/L2)

Software Developer (Application Engineering - L1/L2)

Location: Charlotte, NC or Princeton, NJ

Type: Full-Time | Experience: 1 - 2 Years

We're seeking a motivated Software Developer eager to combine hands-on coding with real-world problem-solving. You'll work across a modern full stack -- Ruby on Rails, React.js, MongoDB, Java, and Native Apps Flutter, React Native.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable applications and integrations.
Debug and analyse production issues, ing structured problem-solving and RCA practices. Collaborate with oVshore engineering, QA, and product teams to deliver stable, high-quality software releases. Participate in limited on-call rotations and site visits to manufacturing plants for deployments and system validation. Support documentation and knowledge sharing for reusable solutions and best practices.

Core Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in software development or application engineering. Practical understanding of Ruby on Rails, React.js, MongoDB, Java, and Native Apps. Proficiency in debugging, version control (Git), REST APIs, and modern web architecture. Clear, professional communication skills and collaborative mindset. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and learn quickly in dynamic environments.

Work Authorization

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. The company cannot provide visa sponsorship.

Preferred

Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Familiarity with Jira or ServiceNow for issue tracking. Scripting ability in Python or Bash for automation or diagnostic tools. Prior experience in SaaS, DevOps, or product-based environments.
