Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for Performance enhancement across databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software performance enhancement tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers for performance improvement. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs for better scale and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications -

• Minimum 6-8 Years of Relevant Experience in IT Performance Testing.
• Expertise in Performance Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
• Expertise in Performance Testing tools using Jmeter / Load Runner.
• Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessary follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
• Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and Oracle DB Parameters and Oracle DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
• Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis. Prepare detail status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues.
• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
• Strong problem solving skills and very good time management skills.

• Design Performance use-cases and Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on Requirements
• Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes
• Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities
• Automate and Run and manage performance test
• Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports
• Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance

• Hands on Experience in Analysis of Performance issues
• Good skills in PL/SQL performance analysis
• Working hands-on experience in Java
• Knowledge of tools like Jmeter/Load Runner. Knowledge in RestAPI performance testing
• Knowledge of any scripting language for automation: Shell/Perl/Python
• Knowledge on cloud technology AWS/OCI/Azure needed
