Job Requirements

To support AVP-OSPF program activities in AVP 3.X (VMware-based) activities.


AVP toolchain is developed mostly in PowerShell and Python and is composed of the two following tools:

Sds-avp: tool to set up AVP cluster Sds-ospf: tool to deploy Virtual Machines and launch OSPF installation AVP-DC: web application/portal that allows users to customize and generate above tools for their project


Below are the competencies expected:

Profile Software Development required with experience in test automation and Cyber/Networks knowledge

OS: Linux


Languages: Powershell, Python

Cybersecurity: Syslog, LDAP, 802.1x, a experience (3-5 years) in cybersecurity environment/development is a plus Networks: good experience in Networks protocols and architectures Environment: Virtualization (VMware) , GitLab CI/CD (Basics) English: Fluent both written and spoken

To perform the sustaining of the existing solution, the support to users, and the implementation of the following topics:

Integrate new version of VMware products into AVP toolchain

: Twice a year, integrate into AVP deployment toolchain new builds of VMware (VMware 7 & 8) until end of life of these versions

Update toolchain

when new major version of VMware products will be released (VMware 9)

Update documentation

accordingly for each baseline: Deployment Manual, Tool User Manual & SwRSAD, Asset Inventories

Automate validation activities

of AVP tool chain

Maintenance & Support

: Analyze errors raised by Users and implement fixes


The candidate should have strong knowledge on vmware and linux.
