We are seeking an experienced Software Defined Radio (SDR) Engineer with hands-on expertise in the AntSDR platform to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and optimize advanced SDR solutions for applications such as wireless communication, spectrum monitoring, and RF analysis. This role involves both software and hardware integration, providing a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of embedded systems, digital signal processing (DSP), and RF engineering. (
Develop and maintain SDR applications using the AntSDR platform, including integration with frameworks such as GNU Radio and Python/C++.
Implement, test, and optimize DSP algorithms for real-time signal acquisition, processing, and protocol decoding.
Design and execute experiments involving AntSDR hardware, antennas, and related RF components.
Troubleshoot and debug SDR signal chains and RF system issues.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware, firmware, and software engineers.
Document project architecture, development procedures, and test results.
Evaluate and recommend enhancements to current SDR workflows, tools, and methodologies.
Stay current with advancements in SDR technology, RF protocols, and open-source SDR development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven hands-on experience with AntSDR hardware and software; other SDR platforms (USRP, LimeSDR, HackRF, RTL-SDR) are a plus.
Proficient in Python and/or C/C++; experience with GNU Radio is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of RF principles, digital communications, and signal processing concepts.
Experience with Linux development environments.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Experience with antenna design, RF front-end circuitry, or embedded system integration (e.g., Raspberry Pi).
Familiarity with wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, etc.) and modulation techniques.
Exposure to machine learning for RF/signal classification or anomaly detection.
Experience in telecom, defense, aerospace, security, or spectrum monitoring applications.
