Tasks

Describe the approach to configuration management in the project, including work product tailoring, controlling modifications to work products and configuration management methods, e.g., for baselining, versioning, branching and merging To define access to work products for all affected parties and to implement the right in the used repositories. To create and maintain a configuration item list (including the configuration items') status and storage locations. Ensure operability of configuration management tools Make sure that work products and engineering artefacts are controlled according to the defined approach Make sure that baselines are established according to schedule and according to the defined approach Gather configuration management related measurements (of key performance indicators or metrics) and report them to concerned parties Create baselines and to assure that they meet the pre-defined quality criteria for baselines.
