What you will do




Kenvue is recruiting for Software as a Service (SaaS) Team Lead for its Finance Operations and Controllership team, working as a Subject matter Expert in a niche, growing area. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming the SaaS Accountingprocesses. The SaaS Accounting Team Lead will collaborate to drive Kenvue's accounting processes, including SaaS contract reviews, capitalization classification, and end-to end SaaS Accounting FinOps process. You will manage a team of analysts responsible for creating Internal orders, posting journals, and performing reconciliations. Additionally, you will gain hands-on experience in drafting policy and writing SOPs and transform the existing processes in line withcompany policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities



Process responsibilities:

Assist in all activities related to SaaS accounting, ensuring accurate capitalization and recognition of expenses related to SaaS contracts and compliance with relevant accounting standards. This includes contract tracking and amortization schedule maintenance. Analyze the financial implications of changes to SaaS contracts, providing insights on accounting treatment and financial impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data related to SaaS transactions. Prepare and maintain documentation for SaaS accounting processes, including policies and procedures. Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to SaaS accounting. Monitor and analyze SaaS-related financial metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements. Assist during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries related to SaaS accounting. Recruit, onboard, and train new joiners Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rules, and latest technologies Liaise with senior Finance leadership within Financial Operations Compliance

Assist the team with any audit requests raised from the Legal Entity Controllership team Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ensure strong internal controls are in place to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings Travel

Up to 5% international travel

Qualifications



A CA or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance is required.

Required:

CA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and/or finance At least 1 year of Management / Supervisory experience Solid US GAAP and IFRS accounting knowledge Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred), and MS Office (in particular Excel) Big 4 Audit/FAAS experience is a plus Fluent in English, other language skills desirable. Confident presenting to senior management in English Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach Successfully manage a team, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines Ability to drive process and continuous improvement initiatives Experience in a Software as a Service Accounting department
