Role Overview

Responsible for product portfolio architecture. Performs product design, systems analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research. Performs bug verification, release testing and support for assigned products.



Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence



Designing overall system architecture including the internal architecture of a component, as well as communication protocols and interfaces to other components Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues; Researches new technology or development tools to remain abreast of current technology; Helping and training fellow developers to work with new product components / modules, to follow company coding practices and architectural guidelines Conducting unit testing and integration testing Performing code and design reviews Performing bug verification, release testing and support for assigned products Being responsible for product's usability by designing user interfaces, creating use cases, and

implementing prototypes and conducting usability tests

Preparing technical documentation of product, creating user interface guidelines and conducting reviews.

DECISION MAKING AND INFLUENCE

Coaches and mentors software engineers Works closely with project management and software developers to formulate the high-level technical solutions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Essential:

1. M.Sc/B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems

2. 10+ years of software development experience with strong focus on mobile application development

3. Fluency in English, both written and verbal

4. Mobile Frontend Development:

o Expert-level proficiency in Flutter and Dart

o Deep understanding of mobile app architecture patterns

o Experience with Flutter state management solutions

o Comprehensive knowledge of iOS and Android app store requirements, submission

processes, and compliance guidelines

o Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

5. Backend & Infrastructure:

o AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and container orchestration

o AWS Serverless technologies:

Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront,

Step Functions

o Infrastructure as Code:

Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation

o Containerization and Kubernetes deployment strategies

6. APIs & Integration:

o REST API design and implementation

o GraphQL APIs

o API Gateway solutions (AWS API Gateway, Kong)

7. Database Technologies:

o RDBMS:

Oracle, PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS

o NoSQL:

DynamoDB, MongoDB

8. Monitoring & Observability:

o Application performance monitoring

o Distributed tracing and logging

o Mobile analytics and crash reporting tools

9. Cloud & DevOps:

o AWS cloud services and architecture

o Secrets Management:

AWS Secrets Manager, Parameter Store

o CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (GitHub Actions, Fastlane)

o Container orchestration and Kubernetes (EKS)

10. Architecture Patterns & Additional Technologies:

o Microservices architecture

o Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern

o Event-driven architecture and CQRS

o Build automation and deployment tools

Desirable:

Hands-on Software Architect with active coding contributions to production systems User-centric approach to mobile application design with focus on UX/UI best practices and accessibility Experience with cross-platform development strategies and native mobile development

(Swift/Kotlin) as complementary skills

Proven track record of leading mobile app releases through app store review processes, including handling rejections and compliance issues Team-oriented professional with a proactive "can do" attitude, strong mentoring abilities, and willingness to expand skillset by learning emerging technologies as needed
