Your role: Lead mapping, layering and interfacing of active safety software components onto target hardware Develop SW architecture to meet functional safety, cybersecurity and other automotive standards Develop high level software architecture, including defining the safety and control data flows Lead microprocessor selection decision making for quoting opportunities Responsible for verifying that the software architecture design meets all derived software requirements (performance, throughput /latency, moding) Perform safety analysis of the software design and develop the software architecture that addresses software safety / cybersecurity requirements Collaborate with cross-software & products architects to ensure compatibility Lead the software architecture definition of the simulation, HIL, SIL and middleware framework Lead the software architecture for the vehicle prototypes to integrate different algorithms from different engineering groups ensuring modularity and flexibility based on a given system architecture Lead cross-functional teams to rapidly build solutions to critical problems that may arise during the course of the development process Assist developers with code and design reviews Model the architectures in UML to ensure traceability with the system architecture and the code. Integrate software algorithms provided by other teams Your background: A graduate in BE/B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech (Electricals/ Electronics/ Instrumentation, Robotics) with 5+ years of Software Architect work experience( over all 8-12 year) A go-getter, good in communication, challenge ideas to achieve career aspirations aligned with Aptiv mission A Learning Enthusiast to be passionate about learning, follow trends and publications in the market outlining new solutions core Microprocessor experience(Renesas, Infineon Tri core, TI TDA4 preferred) device drivers development CAN / CAN FD communication, SPI, MCAL Embedded C/C++/Python service oriented software architectures Extensive experience in POSIX OS (LINUX/QNX/VxWorks) Extensive understanding of Middleware Framework Experience like ROS/ROS2/DDS, etc work on Virtualization and Docker containers Experience with GPU CI best practices and implementing then in GitHubm GitLab, Jenkins |knowledge on software modeling Agile/Scrum principles ISO26262 Technical Safety Concepts ADAS domain knowledge Cybersecurity experience Excellent communication / presentation skills Embedded development tools (compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, serial data tools, etc.) Embedded microprocessor experience (operating systems, I/O drivers, communication drivers, etc.) Software testing and debugging experience Aptiv Rewards & Advantages: Work in 2020's World's Most Ethical Companies for the eighth year in a row.
