Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain modular, service-oriented architectures using Laravel and Node.js. Architect microservices and API-driven systems for logistics operations (vehicle tracking, order management, partner integrations, etc.). Define software design patterns, coding standards, and best practices across the engineering teams. Ensure seamless integration between backend systems, mobile apps, and IoT/telematics platforms. Collaborate with the System Design Architect and DevOps teams to ensure application scalability, fault tolerance, and efficient deployment strategies. Lead architecture reviews, code audits, and performance assessments. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to developers and tech leads. Establish architecture documentation, API standards, and technology roadmaps. Evaluate emerging frameworks, tools, and libraries to enhance system capabilities. Optimize software for speed, reliability, and maintainability. Implement monitoring, error tracking, and performance benchmarking. Work closely with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment efficiency. Ensure data protection, secure API design, and access control implementations. Enforce security best practices in coding and system integration.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

7-12 years of professional experience in software development and architecture. Strong experience with Laravel (PHP) and Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript). Proven record of designing and scaling enterprise-level applications. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems. Proficient in MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL databases. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native applications (AWS/Azure/GCP). Familiarity with message queues and real-time data processing. Knowledge of software security, unit testing, and CI/CD automation. Strong understanding of version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
