Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and client-focused Software Application Engineer to support, implement, and troubleshoot software applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client support. The role requires a solid understanding of programming languages, databases and software implementation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Installation and Configuration: Install and configure software applications on client systems. Ensure smooth integration with the client's infrastructure and systems. Software Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring seamless software application functionality. Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize analytical tools like Power BI and Tableau to generate reports and dashboards for data-driven decision-making. Work with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL to manage and analyze data efficiently. Client Support and Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to client queries, addressing technical concerns and resolving issues. Troubleshoot software bugs and provide efficient solutions. Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex issues and implement necessary fixes. Client Communication and Relationship Management: Maintain professional communication with clients, ensuring their concerns are understood and resolved. Explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by providing high- quality support. Training and Documentation: Provide training to clients on the use and functionality of the software. Develop and update user manuals, guides, and support documentation. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to implement innovative solutions. Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle complex challenges effectively. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop software solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Software Application Engineer or related field. Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Experience with data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau. Knowledge of relational databases: SQL Server, MySQL, or equivalent. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Critical thinking ability to evaluate solutions and make informed decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve skill sets continuously. Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualities:

Knowledge of software debugging tools and techniques. Strong organizational and documentation skills. A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
