Software & Application Development Specialist

to lead the design, development, and management of our digital ecosystem, including websites, mobile applications, ERP systems, CRM portals, and other institutional software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and maintain web applications, mobile apps (iOS & Android), ERP systems, CRM portals, and institutional software solutions. Ensure seamless operation, updates, and optimization of institutional websites, intranet platforms, and digital portals. Integrate various systems (ERP, CRM, academic portals, HRMS, finance systems) to streamline operations and reporting. (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Tally, Moodle, Salesforce, Zoho). Optimize applications for performance, scalability, usability, and security. Implement secure coding practices and ensure application security to prevent vulnerabilities. Perform regular maintenance, bug fixes, upgrades, and backups of all software, web systems, and digital platforms. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and management to understand requirements and deliver technology-driven solutions. Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and establish best practices for development teams. Monitor application and portal performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness. Maintain detailed documentation for all systems, applications, and development processes. Assist in IT procurement related to software, development tools, and digital platforms. Stay updated on emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance institutional digital infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & Skills

a)

Education & Experience:

B. E / B. Tech or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8-12 years in software development, web & mobile app development, and enterprise digital platforms (ERP/CRM).

b)

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, etc.), frameworks (React, Angular, Django, Laravel, etc.), mobile app development tools (Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Swift), database management (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), and API integration experience.

c)

ERP/CRM Experience:

Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, HRMS, finance, or academic management portals.

d)

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in software/web/app development or ERP/CRM systems preferred.

e)

Analytical Skills:

Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimization abilities.

f)

Communication & Leadership:

Excellent collaboration, project management, and mentorship skills.

Additional Advantage:

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, UI/UX design, IT security.

Pay Scale: As per industry norms
