The Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for training youth and community members on essential employability, communication, and workplace readiness skills. The role focuses on enabling trainees to become job-ready, confident, and capable of performing effectively in entry-level roles across multiple sectors.
2. Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
Deliver structured training sessions on soft skills, communication, digital etiquette, and professional behaviour.
Conduct modules covering:
Communication Skills (verbal, non-verbal, English speaking)
Workplace Readiness
Time & Stress Management
Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving
Customer Service Skills
Interview Preparation & Resume Building
Professional Grooming & Self-Presentation
Use interactive methodologies (role plays, activities, group tasks, assessments).
Training Management
Prepare session plans, training materials, handouts, and evaluation tools.
Track trainee attendance, class participation, and learning progress.
Maintain training records, assessment sheets, and daily reporting.
Support mobilization team during counselling and orientation of new batches.
Student Development
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to trainees.
Conduct mock interviews, mock group discussions, and regular practice sessions.
Mentor students on career choices, workplace behaviour, and employability norms.
Build confidence, communication, and self-management skills in learners.
Coordination & Centre Operations
Collaborate with domain trainers, placement team, and centre staff for smooth operations.
Coordinate for exposure visits, employer interactions, and guest sessions.
Support placement activities by grooming students for interviews.
Ensure discipline, engagement, and positive learning environment inside classrooms.
3. Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Psychology / Education / English preferred).
1-3 years of experience in soft skills / communication training.
Strong command over English and Hindi.
Experience delivering training to youth from underserved communities is an added advantage.
