The Soft Skills Trainer will design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance students' communication, interpersonal, and professional development skills. The trainer will prepare students for academic success, employability, and professional excellence through interactive sessions, workshops, and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery
Conduct engaging and interactive sessions on communication skills, personality development, teamwork, time management, emotional intelligence, leadership, and interview preparation.
Train students in presentation skills, group discussions, and public speaking.
Conduct pre-placement training, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops.
2. Curriculum Design & Development
Design customized soft skills training modules suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students of various disciplines.
Develop learning materials, assessments, and e-learning resources.
Continuously update the curriculum based on industry trends and employer feedback.
3. Student Assessment & Feedback
Evaluate student performance through practical assessments and feedback sessions.
Identify skill gaps and provide individual or group coaching as needed.
4. Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with faculty, placement officers, and industry experts to integrate employability skills into academic programs.
Coordinate with HR professionals and recruiters to understand evolving soft skill requirements.
5. Reporting & Administration
Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports.
Prepare periodic reports on training outcomes and student progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in English, Psychology, Education, Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
Certification in soft skills, behavioral training, or communication preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a soft skills or communication trainer, preferably in an academic or corporate environment.
