The Soft Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing non-technical services that ensure a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all guests and staff at the amusement park. This includes housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, waste management, guest amenities, and hygiene services. The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping & Sanitation:
Supervise the cleaning and sanitation of all park areas including restrooms, dining areas, attractions, and administrative offices.
Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Waste Management:
Oversee daily waste collection and disposal.
Implement recycling and eco-friendly waste strategies.
Pest Control:
Coordinate regular pest control activities and ensure minimal disruption to park operations.
Landscaping & Groundskeeping:
Manage the maintenance of gardens, lawns, and outdoor decor.
Ensure aesthetic and safe green spaces throughout the park.
Guest Services Support:
Ensure cleanliness and readiness of guest amenities such as seating areas, lockers, changing rooms, and drinking water stations.
Address and resolve guest complaints related to soft services.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with outsourced vendors for cleaning, landscaping, pest control, etc.
Monitor performance, SLAs, and ensure quality delivery.
Team Management:
Lead, train, and schedule soft services staff including supervisors, janitors, and gardeners.
Monitor attendance, productivity, and conduct performance reviews.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local and internal health & safety regulations.
Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Facility Management, or related field (preferred).
7 - 10 years of experience in facility/soft services management, preferably in amusement parks, malls, resorts, or similar environments.
Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
Proficiency in vendor coordination and contract management.
Knowledge of safety standards, sanitation protocols, and environmental guidelines.
Preferred Skills:
Guest-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and in shifts as per park operations.
