Role Overview:

As a

Sofa Intern

, you will assist the production team in the sofa manufacturing process. This includes learning about frame construction, upholstery, material selection, cushioning techniques, and quality checks. This role is ideal for candidates interested in gaining real-world experience in furniture design, assembly, and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of raw materials like wood, foam, and fabric for sofa production. Support the sofa-making process including frame assembly, cushioning, and upholstery work. Learn and help with fabric cutting, stitching, and covering processes under supervision. Help ensure quality control standards are followed during production. Maintain tools, equipment, and workstation cleanliness. Coordinate with production supervisors and other departments for workflow alignment. Document daily tasks and learning progress for reporting purposes.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

Undergraduate degree (B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, B.Des, or any relevant UG degree - final year students may also apply).

Experience:

Fresher (no prior experience required). Interest in furniture manufacturing or design. Willingness to work hands-on in a workshop environment. Basic understanding of materials like fabric, wood, or foam is a plus. Strong attention to detail, discipline, and willingness to learn.
