We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Solid Wood Sofa Designer to join our team of furniture craftsmen. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of solid wood furniture design principles and the ability to conceptualize, sketch, and develop unique and elegant sofa designs. Key Responsibilities: Design Conceptualization: Generate innovative and attractive solid wood sofa design concepts based on market trends, customer preferences, and functional requirements. Sketching and Rendering: Create detailed hand sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D renderings of sofa designs to communicate ideas effectively to the production team. Material Selection: Choose appropriate solid wood species, finishes, and upholstery materials that align with the design vision and quality standards. Prototype Development: Oversee the creation of prototypes and mock-ups to validate design feasibility and make necessary adjustments. Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure that design concepts are translated into manufacturable and marketable solid wood sofas. Cost Management: Keep an eye on material and production costs to design sofas that meet cost targets while maintaining quality and design integrity. Market Research: Stay updated on furniture design trends, consumer preferences, and competitive offerings to inform your design decisions. Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the design and production process to meet or exceed customer expectations. Communication: Effectively communicate design ideas and specifications to production teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. Sustainability: Consider sustainable design practices and materials to minimize environmental impact in the production process.
