Job Summary



The Society Manager is responsible for the overall administration, maintenance, and smooth operation of the residential society. This role ensures efficient management of facilities, staff, finances, and resident relations while maintaining compliance with society rules and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities



Administrative & Operations



Oversee day-to-day operations of the society Implement and enforce society by-laws and rules Coordinate society meetings and maintain records, notices, and documentation Handle correspondence with government bodies, vendors, and service providers

Facility & Maintenance Management



Ensure proper maintenance of buildings, common areas, and amenities Supervise housekeeping, security, gardeners, and maintenance staff Manage repairs, AMC contracts, and emergency situations Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with statutory requirements

Financial Management



Prepare and manage society budgets Collect maintenance charges and manage defaulters Maintain accounts, bills, invoices, and financial records Coordinate with auditors and present financial reports to the committee

Vendor & Staff Management



Appoint, supervise, and evaluate vendors and staff Ensure timely payments and service quality Handle staff attendance, payroll coordination, and discipline

Resident Relations



Address resident complaints and grievances professionally Facilitate communication between residents and the managing committee Promote a peaceful and cooperative community environment

Compliance & Legal



Ensure compliance with local housing society laws and regulations Maintain licenses, insurance, and statutory documentation Assist in legal matters and dispute resolution when required

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Management, Commerce, or a related field (preferred) Proven experience in society/property management Strong organizational and communication skills Basic accounting and computer knowledge Ability to handle conflicts and work under pressure

Preferred Experience



2-5 years of experience in residential society or property management Familiarity with local housing society acts and rules

Reporting To



Managing Committee / Board Members
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
