Job Title: Social Worker - Abhasa Rehab & Wellness

Location: Coimbatore

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Two Shifts Available

- Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

- Shift 2: 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM

Job Overview:

Abhasa Rehab & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process, ensuring the well-being of our patients and providing essential support to our counseling staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Support:

- Provide emotional and social support to patients undergoing rehabilitation.

- Monitor and assess the mentajl and emotional well-being of patients.

2. Collaboration:

- Work closely with the counseling team to report patient progress and any concerns.

- Collaborate with medical professionals to address the holistic needs of patients.

3. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress.

- Prepare reports and case notes for review by the counseling and medical staff.

4. Crisis Intervention:

- Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively.

- Implement crisis intervention strategies as required.

6. Education and Training:

- Provide education and training to patients on coping strategies and life skills.

- Conduct workshops or support groups as part of the rehabilitation program.

7. Team Communication:

- Maintain open communication with colleagues and contribute to team meetings.

- Participate in case conferences and treatment planning sessions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.

- certification as a Social Worker.

- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Understanding of mental health issues and substance abuse disorders.
