Responsibilities of a Social Teacher

Teaching & Planning

Prepare lesson plans as per curriculum.

Use stories, maps, charts, and activities to make learning engaging.

Integrate current events with classroom topics.

Classroom Management

Maintain discipline and encourage participation.

Conduct group discussions, projects, and debates.

Student Development

Help students understand social responsibilities, rights, and duties.

Encourage critical thinking, reasoning, and decision-making.

Support weaker students with extra guidance.

Assessment

Prepare and evaluate tests, assignments, and projects.

Give constructive feedback for improvement.

Co-Curricular Activities

Organize field trips to museums, historical places, and government institutions.

Conduct events like quizzes, essay competitions, and exhibitions.

Professional Duties

Keep updated with social and political developments.

Attend teacher meetings, workshops, and training programs.

Maintain student records and report progress to parents.
