Bachelor's Degree in

Social Studies / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics

or relevant subject

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) - Mandatory

CBSE board teaching experience preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience

in a CBSE school Experience in handling

Classes III to X

Key Responsibilities:

Teach

Social Studies

as per

CBSE curriculum

for Classes III to X Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines Prepare students for

periodic assessments, unit tests, and board-oriented exams

Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment Use innovative teaching methods, activities, and teaching aids Evaluate students' performance and provide regular feedback Maintain lesson plans, student records, and academic documentation Participate in school academic meetings, trainings, and school events Coordinate with parents during meetings regarding student progress Follow school policies, CBSE norms, and academic calendar

Skills & Competencies:

Strong subject knowledge in Social Studies Good communication and classroom management skills Ability to handle students across different age groups Familiarity with

CBSE assessment patterns and documentation

Basic computer skills for academic reporting and online platforms
