Key Responsibilities
Teach Social Science subjects to assigned classes (History/Geography/Civics/Economics).
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments as per curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
Evaluate student performance through classwork, assignments, and exams.
Use interactive teaching methods such as maps, projects, group discussions, and digital tools.
Maintain classroom discipline and promote critical thinking and social awareness.
Participate in PTMs, academic events, and teacher training programs.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and student progress.
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Science (History/Geography/Political Science/Economics).
B.Ed. is preferred/mandatory as per school policy.
Prior teaching experience at middle or secondary level preferred.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to use technology and smart-class tools.
