Job Description

The High School Social Studies Teacher is responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes the understanding of history, geography, civics, economics, and current events. The teacher will develop and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and informed citizenship in students from grades 8-10.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum. Teach courses such as World History, U.S. History, Government, Economics, and Geography. Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to engage diverse learners. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and discussions. Promote an inclusive classroom culture that respects different perspectives and encourages respectful debate. Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide timely feedback. Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum planning. Enforce school rules and policies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
