Tasks

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards for social studies.
• Facilitate classroom discussions and activities to enhance students' critical thinking and understanding of historical, geographical, and cultural concepts.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources, including technology, to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and integrate new strategies into the classroom.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Geography, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Social Studies at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong understanding of curriculum standards and educational best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective classroom management and collaboration with colleagues.
• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
