Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State/IGCSE/IB as applicable).
Integrate innovative teaching methodologies including project-based learning, discussions, role plays, and case studies.
Use real-life examples and current events to make concepts relatable.
Student Engagement & Development
Encourage inquiry, debate, and independent thinking in class.
Assess and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
Provide constructive feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
Classroom Management
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Ensure discipline while nurturing respect, collaboration, and teamwork.
Assessment & Evaluation
Prepare question papers, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students.
Co-curricular Integration
Guide students in preparing for Social Science exhibitions, debates, quizzes, and model-making.
Encourage participation in national events like Republic Day, Independence Day, and cultural activities that link to Social Sciences.
Professional Growth & Collaboration
Participate in teacher training programs, workshops, and departmental meetings.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular activities.
Parent & School Engagement
Communicate progress, strengths, and areas of improvement with parents.
Contribute to the overall development initiatives of the school.
