Central Academy is seeking a dedicated and skilled

Social Science Teacher

for

Primary and Secondary classes

concepts engaging, relatable, and easy to understand for students.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Social Science to primary school students as per the prescribed curriculum. Plan and deliver interactive lessons covering basic concepts of history, geography, and civics. Use creative teaching methods, activities, and teaching aids to make learning meaningful and engaging. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation. Assess students' learning through worksheets, class activities, and assessments. Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports. Encourage students to develop awareness of society, culture, and civic responsibility. Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and behavior. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and academic planning sessions. Support school events, projects, and co-curricular activities related to Social Science.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Civics, or a related subject. B.Ed. or D.El.Ed Prior experience in teaching primary classes will be an advantage. Good communication and classroom management skills Patience and ability to engage students effectively

Preferred Experience

Experience teaching CBSE / ICSE / Cambridge curriculum Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms
