Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student engagement. Teach subjects such as history, geography, sociology, and political science to students at various grade levels. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages open discussion and critical thinking among students. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational best practices and innovations in teaching. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and classroom activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Valid teaching certification or license in social sciences. Previous experience teaching social science subjects at the university level is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage students effectively. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse perspectives. Proficiency in using technology as a teaching tool to enhance learning experiences.
