We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

Social Science Teacher

to teach

History, Geography, and Civics

to students from Classes

6 to 8

. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage students in interactive and activity-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in

History, Geography, and Civics

in line with curriculum guidelines. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking. Design assignments, projects, and assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. Use innovative teaching methods, including audio-visual aids and experiential learning activities. Maintain student records, track academic performance, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events, and contribute to the overall development of students. Instill values of citizenship, responsibility, and social awareness through teaching. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

B.A. in History / Geography / Political Science (Social Sciences) with B.Ed.

(mandatory)

M.A. with B.Ed.

(preferred for higher expertise and experience)

Experience:

Prior teaching experience in middle school (Grades 6-8) preferred. Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching skills may also apply.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Strong command over subject knowledge. Ability to make lessons engaging and student-centered. Proficiency in using technology for teaching (smart boards, presentations, e-learning tools). Patience, empathy, and passion for teaching.
