Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified

Social Science Teacher

to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, and must be capable of delivering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of society. Fluency in English and effective classroom communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in Social Science subjects for Grades 8 to 10, as per the prescribed curriculum. Use varied teaching methods, including project work, discussions, case studies, and digital tools to enrich learning. Evaluate and assess students' progress through tests, assignments, and class participation. Create a positive learning environment that fosters respect, curiosity, and discipline. Prepare students for internal and board examinations. Maintain accurate records of student performance and report periodically to parents and school leadership. Participate actively in school events, co-curricular activities, and department meetings. Encourage student-led learning and support individual academic needs. Uphold school values and maintain high professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

B.A. / M.A. in History, Geography, Political Science, or related Social Sciences

with

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) - mandatory

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
