Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in social studies to students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. The Social Studies Teacher will create engaging lesson plans, facilitate classroom discussions, and foster a positive learning environment where students develop a strong understanding of social studies concepts.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards for social studies across Grade 1 to Grade 8. Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and projects to evaluate student progress and mastery of social studies concepts. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development. Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote student behavior and engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Teaching certification/license in Social Studies or Elementary Education. Proven experience teaching social studies to elementary and middle school students. Strong knowledge of social studies content, including history, geography, civics, and economics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively engage and motivate students in learning. Experience with technology integration in the classroom is desirable. Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
