Job Description

A social science teacher in our school is responsible for teaching students about social issues, history, geography, and other topics:

Teaching

: Instruct students on social issues, history, geography, and other topics

Lesson plans

: Create and modify lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards

Assessments

: Set and grade assessments

Classroom environment

: Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in

Student performance

: Meet course and school-wide student performance goals

Training

: Participate in ongoing training sessions

Administrative duties

: Maintain grade books, grade papers, and perform other administrative duties as needed

Research

: Write grant proposals to gain funding for further research

Projects

: Create projects designed to enhance lectures

Debates

: Initiate spirited, respectful debates amongst students

Cross-curricular connections

: Integrate cross-curricular connections where appropriate
Social science teachers should be friendly, free from prejudice, and highly cultured. They should also be well-equipped with academic qualifications and have sufficient knowledge of their subject matter.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?17,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
