Responsibilities

Strong understanding of curriculum frameworks, learning outcomes, and assessment patterns of both CBSE and Cambridge Lower Secondary.

Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Social Science lessons aligned with CBSE and Cambridge curriculum standards.

Ensure students develop strong foundational understanding in History, Geography, Civics, and related interdisciplinary themes.

Promote inquiry-based learning by encouraging students to ask questions, analyze information, and develop critical thinking and research skills.

Integrate real-life examples and activity-based learning to make Social Science concepts relatable

Design creative lesson plans, projects, worksheets, and assessments that foster conceptual clarity and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.

Provide constructive feedback and individual support to students to help them excel academically and in co-curricular activities.

Maintain accurate student records, evaluate progress regularly, and communicate effectively with parents.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences

B.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification with specialization in Social Science (preferred).

Minimum 3-4 years of teaching experience handling Grades 5-7 in Cambridge school.
