About Refining Skills Academy (RS Academy)

Refining Skills Academy is a one-stop tutorial center that caters to all the academic and emotional needs of all students (K-12). Pupils trust us with their inquisitiveness on subjects and we create a collaborative space for them to adapt and evolve. It is our goal to train students to practically apply their knowledge to the real world. We mold students into ardent learners by reinforcing their fundamentals and pushing them toward proficiency.

About part time job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Prepare and deliver lessons to classes of different ages and abilities
2. Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and
development
3. Research new topic areas, maintain up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
4. Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment, including podcasts and interactive whiteboards
5. Prepare pupils for qualifications and external examinations
6. Manage pupil behavior in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior
7. Undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of form tutor, and supporting
pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulty
8. Communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate in
departmental meetings, parents' evenings, training events and other events

Additional information:

Working time: 4 pm - 8 pm
