Job Description

To deliver high-quality classroom instruction in Mathematics and Social Science to students of grades 3 to 5, promoting critical thinking, curiosity, and foundational subject knowledge in line with the school's curriculum and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Learning

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Social Science aligned with school curriculum and NEP guidelines. Use interactive and child-centered methods to strengthen conceptual understanding and application. Prepare age-appropriate learning aids, worksheets, and project activities. Foster a classroom culture that promotes discipline, curiosity, and participation. Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on homework, classwork, and assessments.

Curriculum & Academic Support

Maintain academic records, student portfolios, and subject-wise performance tracking. Contribute to lesson planning, question paper setting, and evaluation in coordination with subject heads. Support preparation of activities, exhibitions, and subject-related events.

Classroom & Student Management

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Identify learning difficulties and provide individual support or remedial teaching. Encourage student participation in both curricular and co-curricular activities.

Parent Communication

Participate in PTMs and keep parents informed of student progress and performance. Collaborate with parents and school counselors when behavioral or academic concerns arise.

Professional Conduct

Maintain punctuality and regularity in attendance and duties. Participate in school workshops, trainings, and staff meetings. Uphold school policies, values, and the professional ethics of teaching.
