About the Role

We are looking for a

Social Media Specialist

to manage and grow the social presence of multiple UK-based eCommerce brands. This role suits someone who understands how social media drives traffic, conversions, and brand trust in a competitive online retail environment.

You will plan, create, publish, and optimise content across key platforms, working closely with marketing, design, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily social media activity across

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest

Plan and execute content calendars aligned with UK retail seasons and campaigns Create high-quality posts, captions, reels, and short-form videos Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, CTR, and conversions Optimise content using insights, trends, and platform best practices Coordinate with designers and video editors to deliver consistent branding Support paid social campaigns with organic content and testing ideas Engage with comments, messages, and community interactions professionally Stay up to date with UK social media trends and platform updates
Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing social media for

eCommerce brands

Strong understanding of UK audiences and buying behaviour Hands-on experience with

Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and Meta tools

Confident writing clear, engaging captions in

British English

Ability to analyse data and turn insights into content improvements Experience using scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, or similar) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable (Not Essential)

Experience with

Shopify-based stores

Basic knowledge of paid social ads Experience working with multiple brands or product categories Canva or basic video-editing skills
