We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Specialist to lead our brand's digital presence, manage social campaigns, and tell compelling stories that reflect the vibrancy of our events.
Position Overview:
The Senior Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing the company's overall social media strategy.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can plan, create, and manage engaging content while ensuring alignment with brand objectives. collaborate with creative and event teams to deliver impactful digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
? Manage the company's social media presence across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and TikTok.
? Lead the content creation process -- from concept to publication -- ensuring consistency with brand voice and aesthetics.
? Plan and execute event-based social media campaigns, including pre-event buzz, live coverage, and post-event highlights.
? Collaborate with the creative, production, and event teams to ensure seamless integration of social media into event marketing.
? Manage and optimize paid ad campaigns across digital platforms for maximum ROI.
? Analyze performance metrics, generate detailed reports, and recommend improvements based on data insights.
? Supervise and mentor junior team members and content creators.
? Stay updated with current trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in social and digital media.
? Identify and collaborate with influencers, partners, and brand advocates to amplify reach.
Qualifications & Experience:
? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
? 4-6 years of experience in social media marketing or digital communication, preferably within the events, entertainment, or hospitality industry.
? Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns and delivering measurable results.
? Strong understanding of social media analytics, trends, and emerging technologies.
? Proficiency in tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.).
? Experience in paid campaign management (Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
? Excellent communication, writing, and visual storytelling skills.
? Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
? Basic photography/videography skills are an added advantage.
