About the work from home job/internship

We are looking for a public relations intern to join our PR department. To be a successful PR intern, you must be a confident public speaker and have basic skills in copywriting and social media marketing.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Creating engaging content for media releases, social media platforms, and newsletters
2. Updating and maintaining the company's social media pages
3. Building relationships with clients and potential clients, suppliers, and the media
4. Providing assistance to the PR manager with the scheduling and organizing of events
5. Giving input on marketing initiatives and suggesting creative ways to improve the company's public image
6. Conducting research on marketing initiatives of the company's competitors
7. Monitoring media coverage on events and media releases that were issued and creating press clippings
8. Updating media lists

Requirements:
1. Excellent understanding of various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
2. Efficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
3. Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with customers
4. Good research and analytical skills
5. Willingness to attend corporate events after hours and on weekends
6. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
