Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and growing our social media communities, fostering engagement, and enhancing brand advocacy. Your expertise in utilizing tools like Sprout Social and implementing advocacy strategies will be essential in building a strong online presence for our brands.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to build and nurture engaged social media communities across various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,) to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
• Create and curate compelling content that resonates with our target audience, aligns with our brand voice, and encourages community participation.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and foster positive interactions with our community members.
• Utilize Sprout Social or similar social media management tools to schedule and publish content, monitor social media conversations, track metrics, and analyze performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and product management, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Implement advocacy strategies to encourage our community members to become brand advocates, creating a network of loyal customers who actively promote our products or services.
• Identify and engage with key influencers and industry experts to expand our reach and enhance brand credibility.
• Monitor social media trends, best practices, and emerging tools, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of our social media community management efforts.
• Track and report on key social media metrics, such as community growth, engagement rates, and sentiment analysis, and provide insights and recommendations to drive performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new social media platforms, and innovative community management techniques to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of social media engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 2-4 years experience in Social Media
• Proven experience as a Social Media Communities Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful community management and engagement strategies.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools, such as Sprout Social, Hubspot, or similar platforms, for scheduling, monitoring, and analyzing social media activities.
• Strong understanding of community management best practices, including engagement strategies, user-generated content, and influencer marketing.
• Experience in a global organization managing audiences across geographies and languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content tailored to different social media platforms and target audiences.
• Experience implementing advocacy programs and leveraging brand ambassadors to drive engagement and advocacy.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative community engagement initiatives.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media advertising and paid promotion strategies is a plus.
