As our Social Media Marketing Manager, you will drive engagement, amplify brand credibility, and attract traffic to our website and free-plan offering. You will research trends, collaborate with designers, execute multi-channel campaigns, and build strategic partnerships to extend our reach. This is a hands-on, forward-looking role where you'll learn to own end-to-end social media and email marketing initiatives. The candidate should be able to put in 30 hrs/week. This is a part-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities



Research & Strategy:

Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and platform best practices. Identify high-value forums (e.g., Product Hunt, Hacker News, Reddit) and participation opportunities. Source and secure guest podcast/webinar slots for our team.
Content Planning & Publishing:

Liaise with designers and video editors to commission image and video assets. Offer creative input and help optimize assets for each platform's format. Receive and refine copy from content creators; schedule and publish posts. Maintain a consistent cadence across WhatsApp, Slack, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Product Hunt, and Hacker News.
Community Engagement & Partnerships:

Engage daily with users, prospects, and influencers in product forums and on social channels. Find and vet influencers; coordinate reposts/retweets and partnership opportunities. Research and onboard affiliate and engagement partners to drive product referrals.
Email Marketing:

Develop and send email campaigns to existing users (newsletters, feature updates) and cold prospects. Track open rates, click-throughs, and conversions; recommend iterative improvements.

Required Skills & Attributes



Experience: 2-4 years in social media marketing or related internships. Platforms: Fair level of expertise in the social media platforms execution Content Tools: Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite), basic Canva/Adobe Spark, and email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp). Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to craft compelling copy and follow up Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret engagement metrics and recommend optimizations. Collaboration: Strong at cross-functional teamwork; comfortable liaising with designers, content creators, and external partners. Initiative: Self-starter who can manage multiple channels, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work daily. Commitment: Reliable dedication of 4-5 hours per business day + Saturday; punctual and accountable for deadlines.

Compensation



Salary: INR 25K - 30K/ month based on interview performance, experience and skillsets Payment Structure: Monthly payments tied to project deliverables.
